As a Working Student in QA, you will be part of one of our development teams, working closely with the PO, QA engineers, and developers. You will gain hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, helping us ensure the highest quality of our software products and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical studies and practical industry experience.

Tasks:

Test Support: Assist in the creation and execution of test cases and test scenarios for new software features.
Documentation: Review and help maintain software documentation to ensure it is accurate and user-friendly.
Manual Testing: Perform manual tests on software, databases, and different platforms to identify bugs and issues.
Test Automation Support: Work with the team to categorize test cases for automation and assist in writing basic automated test scripts (e.g., in Python or similar).
Defect Management: Learn to use defect management tools to log, track, and verify bugs.
Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and collaborate with developers and product owner to understand new features and their testability.
Analysis: Support the Customer Service team by helping to reproduce and analyze problems reported from production systems.

Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled as a student in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar technical field.
Technical Basics: Basic knowledge of software development or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, or C#). Interest in learning how code breaks is just as important as knowing how it works.
Analytical Thinking: A knack for breaking things logically to find the root cause of issues.
Language Skills: Good proficiency in English (spoken and written). German is a plus.
Tool Affinity: Familiarity with computers is a given; experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Git is a bonus, but not required.
Mindset: You are detail-oriented, curious, and eager to learn. You work well in a team and can communicate your findings clearly.
