Working field:
Within the framework of the project SpreeWasser:N, which is funded by the BMBF and coordinated by the Hydrogeology Group of the TU Berlin, the influence of climate change and land use changes on water resources in SE Brandenburg is analyzed. The aim is to develop suitable adaptation measures and early warning systems for water stress conditions and to evaluate their efficiency. In addition to 8 scientific partners (such as FU Berlin, PIK, ZALF, BfG, University of Trier), two industrial partners, numerous water suppliers and over 20 stakeholders from the Berlin-Brandenburg region are involved in the research project.
In addition to technical cooperation in the project (focus on water storage) is expected to support the project coordinator, Prof. Dr. I. Engelhardt, in project control, project management and knowledge communication.

The successful candidate is expected to organize and responsibly lead the exchange with the stakeholders and the project management agency. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to supervise the PhD students of the chair of Hydrogeology working on the SpreeWater:N project and to participate in the output of the scientific work.
