Working field:

  • Research in the field of applied ana­lysis with focus on math­em­at­ical image and data pro­cessing, in par­tic­u­lar large-scale in imaging, invertable neural networks, stochastic meth­ods in non­con­vex, nonsmooth optim­iz­a­tion
  • Teaching duties 4 SWS in case of full-time employment

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in mathematics
  • Excellent knowledge in functional analysis, nonlinear optimization, stochastics and machine learning
  • Practical experience in software development in Python and deep learning
  • Very good command of German and English
