Collaboration in the IDunion research project (www.idunion.org) in the areas of secure and trustworthy digital identities. The postholder's research will focus on distributed ledger technologies (DLT) as a foundation for implementing paradigms for self-sovereign identities (SSI). Collaboration in national and international working groups to design and standardize SSI components. Development and implementation of use cases in the following areas: student lifecycle, identity and access management (IAM), mobility and interoperability. This position offers candidates the possibility to pursue a doctorate.
a successfully completed higher university degree (master's, Diplom or equivalent) in computer science or applied computer science
excellent knowledge and practical experience in the fields of distributed systems as well as identity and access management infrastructures
experience of developing web-based and mobile applications
basic knowledge of distributed ledger technologies
ability to work independently and a high sense of personal responsibility
teamwork skills and flexibility
good communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English
commitment and willingness to work including flexible working hours
