Research Assistant - 0.65 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen

Working field:

The job holder is responsible for all tasks related to the AiF-funded project "Improving the stability of plant protein-based emulsions". This includes the development, planning and implementation of scientific experiments, their evaluation, the instruction of students, project management including the writing of interim and final reports, project presentations and scientific publications.

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in food technology, Food chemistry or a comparable subject
  • laboratory experience in physico-chemical characterisation of biopolymers and biopolymer-based emulsions
  • very good Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • good German and English skills required, spoken and written
  • good organizational and communication skills
Desirable qualification:
  • knowledge in project management
  • experience in guiding students
  • good organizational and communication skills
