Participation in the research project RACCOON (Robust And seCure post quantum COmmunication
fOr citical iNfrastructure):

• research, development and test of innovative software and algorithms for cybersecurity

applications in the scope of space technology

• programming of embedded systems and execution of end-to-end systemtests with respect to

the requirements constraints of small satellites

• definition, Design and Test of embedded hardware for small satellite applications
• execution of scientific research activities with respect to particularities of the space

technology environment

• enthusiasm for leading-edge research, a mix of creativity and persistence, and team spirit

are essential

• PhD thesis preparation is possible

• successfully completed research-oriented university degree (Diplom, Master or equivalent)

in informatics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, Cybersecurity, telecommunication technologies or equivalent

• excellent programming skills for embedded systems (C++, Phython, GNU Radio / VHDL, version control via GIT)
• profound practical expertise in electrical circuit design
• good written and oral communication skills in German and English

desirable:

• experience in space technology (e.g. small satellites)
• experience in the field of cybersecurity applications
• practical experiences in the field of manufacturing and testing of circuit boards or embedded

systems
