Research Assistant - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen - 1st qualification period (PhD candidate)

part-time employment may be possible

Working field:

  • Modeling and simulation of sustainable propulsion systems in context of hydrogen, methanol and
    ammonia as energy sources
  • Development and implementation of innovative modeling approaches at system and component
    level using 0D, 1D and 3D methods
  • Experimental validation of simulation results
  • Further development and implementation of courses and lectures
  • Supervision of final theses

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree in engineering (Diplom, Master or equivalent)
  • Knowledge in at least two of the following topics: numerical simulation, thermodynamics, chemistry, process engineering, control engineering, electrical engineering
  • Knowledge of vehicle technology and sustainable vehicle drives (battery electric drives, fuel cell drives, and combustion engines) is desirable
  • The ability to teach in German and/or English is a prerequisite; willingness to learn either English or German is expected
