Your responsibility:

Fundamental research in the field of theoretical physics of ultrafast and nonlinear optics in many body systems, participation in the CRC 1772 "Heterostructures of molecules and two-dimensional materials“ / sub-project A03 „Emergent optical and non-equilibrium excitons in mol2mat heterostructures“

Your profile:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diploma or equivalent) in physics or a related field
  • very good knowledge in theoretical physics, with a focus on modeling the dynamics of charge and energy transfer and documented knowledge on the properties of excitons under the influence of magnetic and electric fields are required
  • good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • high level of commitment and ability to work independently is desired
  • good didactical and programming skills are necessary are desired
