We support companies in strategic investment decisions and shape the energy policy debate. enervis is expanding its European consulting team and is looking for a working student (availability > 6 months) or intern.

European Energy Markets - Working Student / Intern (m/f/x)

Tasks:

  • You analyze European energy markets, including policy, regulatory and economic frameworks, with a strong focus on power markets.
  • You keep track of key developments such as RES pipelines and policies, commodity and CO₂ markets, hydrogen, grid expansion and related topics.
  • You translate data and analyses into meaningful insights for our European energy market scenarios and present and discuss your results in internal settings.
  • You contribute to the further development of our in-house energy market models.

Requirements:

  • You are pursuing a degree in energy economics, economics, or engineering
  • You bring a solid understanding of energy economic principles and power markets.
  • You have ideally gained initial experience in the energy industry through your studies or internships.
  • You communicate fluently in English and ideally bring an additional EU language; German is a plus.
  • You are confident in using MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; experience with advanced data analysis (e.g. Python) is an advantage.
  • You stand out through strong analytical and conceptual thinking, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills.
