The Helmholtz International Beamline for Extreme Fields (HIBEF) is looking for a

Scientific Employee (f/m/d) as a parental leave cover

Tasks

  • Preparation and support of experimental HIBEF setups for user operations on the HED-HIBEF instrument at EuXFEL, specifically laser shock compression and associated diagnostics

Requirements

  • Completed university studies (Master) in the field of Physics or related field
  • Relevant professional experience in the fields of high-energy science and laser physics
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when providing user support
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
  • Excellent written and spoken English
